Another one of those days. Guy came by this morning and told Steve there was nothing to be done about the noise with the sump pump. They absolutely won't drain it into the sewer.

So we started out to go to the post office (to mail books to Elysha) and lunch at the Pilgrim. Steve forgot to fasten his seat belt, so he's pulling over toward the curb at the cornet, saying he was going to hit the tree again. He came so close I shrieked! So he screams at me and I yell "Stop it!". So he says, "Well you can go by yourself!", turns the car around and goes back home, gets out of the car, leaves the car door open and stomps into the house where he opens the screen door window. I get int the driver's seat and go to the post office (media mail - it cost about $11 to mail), then to Kings where I got something for my lunch (smoked salmon), watermelon (and cantaloupe), milk, and Entenmann doughnuts (they were on sale for $2.99). Then I came home - he was nowhere to be found. He's in "his" room asleep, I guess. He has 6 packages on the front step. I got the hanging laundry from the basement and took it upstairs. There was a weird noise this afternoon - sounded like snoring coming from the back of the house. Never did figure out what it was.

I think I'm going to go up to bed. I'm tired.
