Indian Summer. I put my summer clothes away - the temperature has been near or over 80° the past few days - I missed yesterday, which was hot. I kept my capris out, even though I feel like I look like a fool wearing them. 

I also went to the library and picked out a few books to send to Elysha and a reserve for me - Starter Villian. It's a weird Sci-fi book by John Scalzi. Saw Joan and Karen, which was nice. Joan has a long-distance boyfriend - the brother of one of her neighbors. He sounds like a very nice guy. I hope that he does make her happy - she says he has promised to. Karen showed pictures of her last vacation - in Italy. I am so jealous.

Woodgie is being very obstinate about taking her meds. When I went to pick her up for her meds this morning, she flew down the stairs. I got her later and gave them to her downstairs.

A guy from a company called Fix It Paving & Masonry came by and offered us an estimate for fixing our porch. No Yelp reviews, nothing on Next Door. I put a request for any references on Next Door. We'll see if anyone has anything to say about them. I also put in a request at the state licensing bureau to see if they have a current license. Steven was ready to jump, but I am wary - we didn't ask him for an estimate.
