We got flurries earlier. ❄️The guys are working on the foundation now. The bank stuff is gone - we can't get all the paperwork needed. Steven is scrambling to get money enough to pay off some of the work. Our house is sinking - the foundation was coming apart. I think we have been taken advantage of by the guy who's done the porch (which has already cracked) and foundation. Steve's looking to sell things that Brian passed on, like trading cards and toys. He's in the basement looking at stuff he hadn't opened. He may close out his Merrill Lynch account and take out a loan on life insurance - either mine or his. It's getting terrible. 😢
Woodgie has a vet appointment at 3 o'clock. A new vet but the tech that's been there since she was a kitten. She looked all right to the vet - she's gained a little weight, which is good - she said at her age, let her eat whatever she wants. She didn't answer Steven's questions about whether she was deaf or not and said there isn't a test for cats like there is for dogs. They took her blood work and said we can check back on it Monday - and to bring in a stool sample if we can tomorrow or Monday.
