It's been 43 years since John Lennon was shot - I can remember where I was then.

Now and Then  

Jenni sent me a message about a package she sent for Christmas: Your package should get delivered to you today according to the tracking.

 and I replied with this:

I'll let you know. Just warning you that your present won't be as big as usual. We now have a mortgage -$178,000+ and Steve is going to try to cash in his Merrill Lynch for $60,000. We owe a lot to contractors. We might be moving soon. That might be the only way to pay off the contractors. It's scary to listen to his worrying about when the next dollar is coming from - he's also trying to sell the rest of his comics and toys. That will trigger his depression. If you still pray, do it for him. Love you.

John came by and dropped off stuff for the foundation and the guy who's doing the work. He's picked up the refrigerator - he should be back with it soon. He's putting it together now - 10:30AM. Got it - looks like Mom's refrigerator. Got to try to get the little one upstairs.

Face today - thar cut beside my nose won't go away - it doesn't hurt, and it doesn't seem to be scabbed over. I'll keep putting the ointment on it. I'll call to see Kristina if it doesn't go away by Monday. She also may have gotten the X-rays by then.
