I forgot yesterday. I got to relax a little, but a guy from Adult Protective Services came by to check on the work done by the schmuck- that's what I'm calling him now.

Guys are here trying to trace a possible oil pump from the past. It will be mucho expensive to clear it and clean up after it. So far they haven't found anything negative.

In other news a detective from the Verona Police called and left a message on my cell phone. I've got to call him back. I also need to call the Essex County Ombudsman to file a report with them. I also have to get Essex County Ombudsman - the numbers given to me by Adult Protective Services didn't work. The next number he gave me was the Essex County Courthouse and they gave me a number that ended up being a voicemail. I left a message.

While I was on the phone with all these people, I got a call from 631-332-3276. A New York number, I think. I'll see if they left a voicemail... Nope...

Everybody says there's nothing they can do because Steven made out the checks that John cashed. And John did do the work we paid the absurd amount to.

Went to visit Steven and he's being released tomorrow morning. He's wandering around looking like he's not sure what to do, but he looks and sound better, so there's that. He's going to have to sleep with me, because he'll fall again getting up from that mattress. I don't know what I'm gonna do with him. I hope he'll be able to take care of himself - I have to go to Elysha's house in a couple weeks. 

Ring is acting up again. Damn thing. I'll have to pry it off again and see if I can get it reconnected. It reconnects when I have it inside - of course that's no fucking help.
