Well, today I had to take the Affidavit of Consideration (for use by seller) and get it signed by Steven and notarized at City Hall. I had to email it to both Jackie Trotter and Elysha to make sure it was okay. They both said it looked good, so I put one of the copies (I got 2, TWO, of them notarized in case they lost one of them again) in an envelope, then took it to the Cedar Grove Post Office and put it in the hands of a postal worker. We stopped at Burger King, Petco (I got a few cans of Fancy Feast for over 7 years old cats, one of Tiki (she may have eaten that before but I'm not certain) for over 11 years old, and one Friskies for adult cats. I also got a lid to fit any of the cans. While I was at Petco, Steven went to cash in some Lottery Scratch-Offs, went to Kings and got some donut holes and went to Anthony Franco and got a pizza. We got home with all of it and had Burger King (well, I did) and pizza. I'm tired just writing it all down.
I got all the pins off my wall. That took hours! I've got to go upstairs and see if I need to pack anything else away. I've got to figure out what to give to the food pantry and what to put in a box to take with us.
February feels a lot longer than 29 days...
A guy who said he would buy my extra Ninja system actually came and gave me the $50 I asked for it. Nice looking couple of guys. Finally got rid of the thing - people kept saying they'd come for it - well, not today, can I pay with Venmo, will you send another picture - too many people who wanted it, but on their terms. I was afraid of this guy, but he was such a cute little guy - and his partner was just as cute. I'm glad they came for it. And $50 is $50.
