What

Temperatures dropping into the mid to upper 30s tonight will result in frost formation.

Where

Portions of northern Indiana and southwest Michigan.

When

From 2 AM EDT /1 AM CDT/ to 8 AM EDT /7 AM CDT/ Sunday.

Impacts

Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.

Additional Details

Cloud cover arriving tonight has the ability to stunt cooling and may be a reason why frost formation is restricted.

Summary

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.

Of course, I have a hanging basket full of tender plants and a bunch of pansies out front that I planted yesterday. The pansies are on their own. I guess I'll bring the basket inside.

I sent a text to Elysha saying I hope she feels better and to take care of herself. I put a little joke - "Your nose is the only one you got ". Hope she isn't affronted by that.
