Went to Free Comic Book Day at Buy Me Toys & Comics. I bought a series of comics - four of them. Then we came home, got our hats and went to the Derby Party in Mishawaka.
I bought 1 mint julep and went to get another. My credit card got screwed up so a big black guy said he'd pay for mine. Such a nice thing to happen to me! My favorite came in second, but I had a win/place/show bet on him, so I won $12.96. But I deposited $20 and a $5 service fee, so I didn't do so hot. Winners were Sovereignty, Journalism (my horse) and Baeza.
