June 16th - Woodgie died💔😿

Woodgie died in my lap in the recliner around 11:30 this morning. I got her to sleep in bed with me last night because I couldn't bear to go around the living room to be with her.  I had to call and cancel everything. Also Elysha said when they came to pick up Woodgie that she had to go pick up Steven, too. I wrapped Woodgie in the Pet Perks blanket, which I had to get rid of so I don't break down every time I see it. I didn't have her in a blanket, but had the Crunch blanket under her until I got done with breakfast (I can't eat bread or bagels or anything like that- I can't get it chewed up enough to swallow it) and the paper and stuff.

Woodgie cried a little when I picked her up and took her to sit in the recliner and rock. We sat there rocking with me crying. She'd act like she was gone, then take a little gasp and be "okay" for a little while, then another gasp. She took one last gasp before the kids got here, then she was gone. They came just a little bit after that. Jimi checked her heart. That broke me, then he got in touch with her vet to see if they could take her in for cremation today. They could and they took her like I said. It's 12:15 and I can hardly believe both Steven and Woodgie are gone. 

I can't drive until my staples are out so Jimi is going to have to take me to the doctor on Friday morning which is when I have to go and get them out.
