Well, Jenni hit me up for $250 this morning - doctor's visit for her. 

Steven gave me a cute Valentine with dinosaurs on it. I looked at it and thought "Yeah, but dinosaurs are dead." Inside clarified it a little, but still - dinosaurs are extinct. The end of time for them was thousands of years ago. Even a little longer doesn't make it any better. Then, I'm just down so I can't see the bright side of it. 

I went outside to get the paper and the cat litter that he put down to give some traction stuck to the bottom of my slippers, making them slick as a whistle. I got inside and left footprints like the kids in the Family Circle. And I hate the kids in the Family Circle.

I wiped my feet of the mat, but it didn't help. I had to mop the hall and take the mat downstairs to wash - I've already washed the others after the catastrophe of the other night. I scrubbed my slipper soles down and they're upstairs drying out - I hope. I think that and Jenni's usual "gimme " is what brought me down.
