I finally changed my pension EFT to my account. Not that it'll make a great deal of difference, but my money is now my money. The fireworks in Verona were set off last night, but there was a thunderstorm before and after it and apparently right along with it. The thunder was louder than the fireworks. When I put out the recyclables (Steven was "in bed" all day yesterday), it was cloudy and then wind picked up, so I went out to get the boxes that had blown into the street- it started to rain - big, fat drops, warm and heavy. I got soaked. It was fun.

Today is cloudy, hazy, and a little humid, but not as bad as yesterday. Not up in the upper 90s today. I set out a bucket of ice and some water for the mailman and he said today would be cooler when I told him I'd try to remember to put some out today.

Lots of stuff going on. People seem to think the pandemic is over. We'll see.
