Cool, rainy. Jenni called, just to talk. She didn't get the new car, she got her car fixed, which took almost all the money I sent her. She said she'd took an interview at a Halal slaughterhouse - she said it was like Kosher, but Islamic. She didn't ask for more money, which was a "blessing". I bought some new aluminum cookie sheets - the ones I have are so rusty and beat up. I think they were mine, not Mom's or Grandma's, so there's no sentimentality to them. I also ordered another pair of shorty pajamas. The other ones I got are maybe too short. They're supposed to get here on Thursday, which will give me  week to break them in.  I can't believe it's only Saturday.

I have to get somebody who can take care of Woodgie when we go away. My high school reunion is Oct. 9th and maybe a day or so either side.  Then we'd go visit Elysha and Jimi and fly home from South Bend. I'm getting all nervous about going, even without the worry about Woodgie. 

People down the street invited us to come down for fireworks tomorrow night at 9:30. Heck, that's bedtime. I've played games so much today. I should give up a game or two. Sigh. It's the one thing I have control over though.
