I forgot yesterday. It was busy. Got up early, went to Mountainside for my blood test and COVID test. They argued with me about the COVID test. Went to the doctor, Martha got the test thing straightened out with a new prescription for it. Dr. Leslie said my blood counts haven't changed much, if at all. She upped the dosage for the Hydroxyurea to twice a day and wants to see me in four weeks. I'm in isolation until my sleep study. The COVID test came back negative today- of course. I got up early again, so I can try to get to sleep easier at night. I slept pretty good last night. I had a dream with Stephen Reas and I at a James Taylor concert. We were younger, of course. There was some sex involved this time - last time he was in a dream of mine, he pushed me away. I guess that's why I said I slept good. 😉
I called Joan Dorfman last night - she had her eye surgery so is off work at both libraries for a month. She's in "isolation", too. Things are not going real well for her. I hope her son gets a good smack up the side of the head by his friends or something to tell him how much his mother needs him and vice versa.
We lost power for a little bit last night - about an hour around 6 o'clock. I lit the burner of the stove to use the cast iron grill pan for hamburgers. They were rare, but not bad enough for food poisoning.
Today is cloudy and it rained this morning, but the sun is trying to peek through the clouds. Steve went to the drugstore and got my prescription, so my first dose is a little late this morning, but tomorrow will be a little earlier, I hope.
It's one of those days I wish life were coming to an end. I'm simply tired of living.
