Accuweather says cloudy, but there's sun here for the moment. The forecast says "A blend of sun and clouds with a heavy thunderstorm late this afternoon". No storms yet, it's 6 o'clock and sunny. Talked to Elysha, she said it's raining there and has been for a few days, so it's probably headed this way. She said they had some flooding in the basement of the house, they have to seal the foundation.

Jenni messaged me yesterday and asked me if I would get her Godspell on DVD from Amazon. Since I liked that movie (one of my few dates right after high school - with a kid from church named David Beville) and I have credit, I ordered it for her. She should get it tomorrow.

I sent a St. Pat's Day card to Kara at her dad's address (I checked to make sure she was there). It came back, said it was forwarded to her address at Sunset and the forward had expired. That was strange.

I watched the new West Side Story and it was just as sweet and sad as the original, although I did get a little irritated at the Puerto Ricans only speaking Spanish (no subtitles, or closed captions). It was my first date, with a boy I met at Janalea McCubbins birthday party. We were both wallflowers - he was 13 and I was 15. He wanted to go steady, but I broke up with him. It was something I vaguely recall. I wonder what happened to him. When I mentioned him to John Olsen when we were going together and he said he was a "candy boy". I asked what that was and he said it was that he was too good looking. The guy they wanted Maria to date was Chino and when they did it as the class play at PRP, Robert played him. A lot of things brought to mind as I watched it. It was a long time ago...
