I'll have to take their word for it, as I'm upstairs on the desktop. I'm working on my book, but since I haven't read much about the 19th century, other than books about the Civil War, I'm a little at a disadvantage.

I message called Kara this morning and she was still at work, even though it was 7 o'clock there. Later, we messaged back and forth while she was getting ready for and at a party. She put a picture of her and some of her coworkers on the chat page.

She says the guy in front is Jaime - says he's from Spain and also speaks some Japanese. Which caught her off guard at dinner. She also says her flight out of Berlin has been rescheduled and they'll miss the connection in Amsterdam. She's getting a little frantic. I think she'll get home all right. At least Jenni will be able to pick her up since it's the weekend. We got a thank you, see you soon card from her. She must've sent it when she got into the Japanese test in December.

We went to dinner at the Pilgrim and cashed in our winning (not a lot, but enough to make it back) scratch-offs. The refrigerator seems to be working. Its freezer definitely works.
