Not thunderstorm rain, but fairly heavy rain - Fair in the Square is out. No, it wasn't! They went ahead and had it. It was crazy. I tried to pick up the police report for Steve's accident, but they said we'd have to get it on Monday. 

I got a call from the Enterprise sales that our rental car company told us about. I told her we were looking for something inexpensive - very inexpensive. She said she'll get back to me and I told her we might be there on Monday, after we straighten things out with the insurance company. 

We have to go find Kara a working wristwatch today. She's afraid that my Red Cross watch will go off. A website told her it has aa alarm. We went to TJMaxx - too expensive. So, we drove to Rockaway and went to a Walmart. It was like going to Kentucky! I got a soft long-sleeved shirt that I thought was $14.99, but it rang up as $10! Kara found her watch, too, but had to take off some links on the wristband so it would fit her. She also got a little purse, because the one she brought is an enormous one.

We went to the Pilgrim for dinner. Kara and I had matzoh ball soup - Steve ate mine. She brought home part of her sandwich, said she'd eat it for breakfast. We have to leave at 9:30 tomorrow morning. It's 8:15, so I need to take a shower and get ready for bed. 

We are going to do a lot on Monday.
