We got to Kara's test site very early. The driver, Ernie, was very nice - we drove around trying to find a place with a restroom - Starbucks didn't have one and a gas station didn't have a public one (which the manager told me very distinctly that was not for public, just for staff). We finally found a parking place near a restaurant - with a restroom. Nice people, good food and it didn't cost an arm and a leg. Ernie had two eggs over easy, with potatoes, bacon and toast and I had a chicken salad sandwich. He had coffee and I had a Sierra Mist (nobody seems to have Coke anymore). Came to less than $30 with a $5 tip.

Waiting was boring, so we talked a lot and took some pictures of a couple of black squirrels. 😏

It seemed like forever at first, but after lunch time seemed to speed up a little.
We got our wires crossed but finally got Kara and went home - a different way than we went. Saw a lot of the Bronx. The first picture below was on the side of a building. The one below that is the end of the famous George Washington Bridge. I played the video of Lewis Black and my tale of the GWB and Englewood.

It was a nice day - not real cold and it was sunny. Kara thinks she did pretty well on the tests, except maybe the listening part because they didn't repeat the phrase. Just once and that was it.
