We had an awful time trying to get the digital tickets for the show, but I finally got them downloaded to my phone. We're going to leave soon. Steven is still coughing, but not as much. I'm going to make him wear a heavy mask.
Well, we got there after a LOT of trouble - worse than with Lewis Black and that's saying something. We went to the NJ PAC. Turned out it was at the Prudential Center, about four blocks down. So we walked and walked. The line to get into the center was soooo long. I got a laugh from some people who were arguing about whether he always picked the wrong line and I turned around and said "This happens at the bank, too?" We finally got in and had to walk to the other side of the building. Section103, row 8, seats 13 and 14. He had a big screen so that those of us in the outer reaches could see him. Not that you can tell that from the picture.
The old guy, Walter, was dressed as Biden and they made fun of him. I didn't like that part - I didn't think it was that funny. But he wasn't cancelled - the new word for "you can't say that, we won't let you on anymore". He had a new character called URL - pronounced Earl. He was attached to his phone, thumbs going like mad while Jeff talked to him. Achmed did a "who's on first" with Jeff, using the Chinese leader - Xi, pronounced She. It went back and forth about was he the leader- yes, Xi. Achmed said it sounded like instead of She, it should be click, click. He was funny - he took off his turban and nearly lost what hair he had. He wore a helmet and said he was a COVID variant. That was funny - especially since Steven had had COVID and he and I were the only people there with masks on. Peanut was very, very weird, calling Jeff a "cracker" - a not so nice jab at a white person. Jose, the Jalapeno on a stick was doing a routine with Peanut as the HR dept. for the "guys in the box". It was all oddly funny, but I'm not real sure it was worth the money. Steven got the tickets from Stub Hub and used a $100 gift certificate he'd won. So our tickets were around $35 apiece. Parking by the PAC was $20 - it was $40 near the Prudential Center - so we got exercise and saved $20. 😛

Got dinner from a Korean chicken place - Don Chicken - that just opened in Verona. Crispy boneless wings and French fries. It was tasty - and they gave us pickled radishes with spicy sauce as a "gift". Not too bad.
I sent a message to Elysha, but haven't heard back from her.
Got my ophthalmologist appointment tomorrow. Steven's going to take me.
