Damn, it's been a long day - packed up a lot of the bathroom stuff. I didn't realize how much stuff was under the sink and in the medicine cabinet. I've also put surprise bags on Next Door and Facebook Marketplace. Damned people in Newark want them. I'm not going to let them come this far and I've forgotten about it. One - toys- got taken. The guy lives on Cumberland. I'm not sure which it was on. Probably Next Door. I'm tired of asking people to pick up something that's FREE within a reasonable amount of time!!!! I have two maybes... Sigh. I took the surprise bags off Next Door and put them on Marketplace.
Five more days till closing. Elysha says they are going to fly up on the 26th, stay in a hotel and rent a car. She's looking at movers, and other stuff. If I can remember all of it. She says they might be willing to close on the house in Granger before the end of the month. We're paid up on the Use and Occupancy till March 2nd and it's $350 a day after that. Steven is pissed off that he'll have to cancel all the utilities, the homeowner's insurance (after we've moved out), and move. Period - he doesn't want to move. Like we could afford to live here. He did talk to the lawyer about getting some of the money back from the schmuck. Although we have to find him first. He's probably spent all the money, the mother fucker.
I'm doing laundry in the dark. Flashlight on the phone my light.
Fire inspector is coming tomorrow night. Hope the fact that the light doesn't work by the washer/dryer is not a problem...
