January 1st

Well, it's 2020 and we've got the opportunity to make amends for our errors in judgement about the government that we made in 2016. It's going to be a long and bloody road until the election though. Democrats have thinned out a bit and there's a woman that might be the Democratic nominee again (not Hillary though). Middle America will not go for a woman though and my worst fear is that they, again, will vote the incompetent S.O.B into office simply because he isn't a woman - especially because he isn't a woman who won't golf continually and is better equipped mentally for the job.
I'm hoping Jenni will fare better this year and that Mom and Greg will be in better health. Also hoping that Elysha and Jimi continue to do well and that John and Cathy and their kids also stay well - and can help Mom as much as they have for the past few years.
Steven and I are in relatively good health and Woodgie, bless her little old heart, is doing well.
Blood pressure for today is 129/80. pulse 54
Here's to a happy, healthy, safe, and prosperous new year!
